It's a good thing Jeffrey Dean Morgan is so damn charismatic. Everything rests on his leather-clad shoulders during this transition phase for the show. A shame, really. This ensemble is powerful, with more strength incoming this season with the additional survivor groups. So why rely on just Negan, a pale version of the man at that, to force the old rules out when there's a talented army at your disposal? Why, if his world is the main goal, do we only see it from an outsider's point-of-view? If he is the vision for the future, take off the rose/Rick colored glasses and let the character's true colors shine. Full immersion is far more satisfying and provides a better story than creeping in and chickening out the minute the cold water touches your junk.
